From "Over the Hump" girl to celebrated power woman of the pop world

As a small, strong girl with red cheeks, Maite smiled from the Kelly Family's million-selling "Over the Hump" cover in 1994. What many people didn't realize was that even then she had to fight against prejudice, ridicule and an industry that rarely forgives. But her father gave her a piece of wisdom early on: "Life's not fair - so make something of it!" She internalized these words - and lives by them to this day.

Instead of allowing herself to be bent, she chose her own path. Soccer instead of dolls, martial arts instead of ballet, pants instead of dresses. Barefoot, wild, headstrong - Maite was never the good show girl, but always a fighter with heart. And that's exactly what makes her special.

Maite thrilled thousands of fans with her last tour "Die Happy-Show... geht weiter!" at the beginning of 2025 - the shows were a huge success, her album "NUR LIEBE" shot through the charts, and Maite proved once again: she's not just a star, she's a phenomenon.

With "UNVERSCHÄMT KELLY", she is now taking her live shows to a new level: more emotional, more direct, rougher - and even more honest. Maite Kelly is a child of the road. And you can see that in every note, every sentence, every gesture. The show will be a grab bag full of songs, life stories and genuine emotions. When Maite sings, it's without a filter, it's about heartache, longing, love, eroticism - and survival. Anyone who criticizes her lyrics only gets a cheeky laugh in return:

"I write my songs the way I like them, I'm a real Schlagerpunk! Anyone who thinks my lyrics should be banned, I just say: So what? I'll sing them anyway!"
