Mamas Gun are masters of modern soul music. Their blend of classical and contemporary influences has sparked millions of streams worldwide and earned them praise from respected media and press outlets around the globe, establishing them as a truly international force.

Collectively, the UK-based group's initial releases spawned top 10 hits across four continents, including number one singles in Japan and Korea, fueled by the band's sold-out tours and funky, energetic performances at the Billboard Music Awards as well as global music festivals such as WOMAD, Greenroom, Java Jazz and more.
With the release of their penultimate album Golden Days (2019), Mamas Gun delivered their most significant masterpiece to date. A sense of joy and fun, coupled with exceptional musicianship, has always set Mamas Gun apart from their contemporaries. It is these qualities that catapulted their first two singles onto the playlists of BBC Radio in the UK and helped them,
overtake Madonna as the number 1 international act in the Japanese airplay charts. Subsequent releases saw them gain further support from other major continents as well as sync placements on major Netflix and Apple shows, cementing their headline appeal in the UK, Europe and Asia and raising the group's profile even further, reaching the top 20 in the UK independent album charts with a top 10 airplay single.

Evoking the spirit of 70s conscious soul, Mamas Gun released their bold and big-hearted follow-up album CURE THE JONES in 2022. A lush, nuanced meditation on a world turned upside down, embedded in the classic soul tradition of Bill Withers and Marvin Gaye.
With this album, the band set out to establish themselves on the US market. In partnership with Secretly Group/Colemine Records, the album was released in the US and quickly received airplay support from stations like KCRW, ushering in a shift in their streaming support with a new US-focused fanbase. The band's debut North American tour (2023), supported by live sessions with AUDIO TREE & KCRW, was a huge success, so much so that they returned for more dates a few months later and headlined the NEW YORK JAZZ FESTIVAL in 2024.

Cure The Jones, the band's latest album, is their most complete and powerful work to date, making soulful connections between love, loss, life and today's most pressing social and political issues. The album was one of their most critically acclaimed and helped propel the project to a new level of prominence.
It was written and produced during the pandemic by Mamas Gun frontman Andy Platts and recorded straight to tape using an array of analog equipment in his UK studio.

The five-piece band consisting of Andy Platts (vocals), Terry Lewis (guitar), Dave Oliver (keyboards), Chris Boot (drums) and Cameron Dawson (bass) bring a wide range of influences to the table. Together they work with creatives such as Rod Temperton, Brian Jackson and John Oates (of Hall & Oates), Leon Ware, Puma Blue and many others.

After almost two years of touring four continents to sold-out crowds and signing a contract with an international major publisher, Mamas Gun have begun work on their next album, due for release in spring 2026.
