Morocco, with its rich landscape and culture, is a popular tourist destination. The media reports on the pre-democratic country primarily in connection with the unresolved Western Sahara conflict and the question of the political causes of flight. Economically, Morocco is one of the emerging countries with a pioneering role in Africa. The huge wealth-poverty gap is reflected in the extreme education gap. The speaker will present the project TREES FOR THE DESERT as an example of successful development work.
