Burrell. He himself has performed on stages around the world with Sonny Rollins, Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau and Dr. Lonnie Smith, among others. The Cologne pianist's playing is described as unbridled, intelligent, captivating, virtuosic, independent, excellent and full of energy. His trio is once again touring with the exceptional American guitarist Peter Bernstein, who is a regular guest in all New York jazz clubs. "A groovy affair" is the title of the joint CD by Martin Sasse & Peter Bernstein.
