SPITZENREITER - that's the name of Matze Knop's brand new stage program. Together with his new horse buddy, he daringly rides through the madness of our everyday lives. Matze faces all the pitfalls and challenges in these crazy times in his well-known humorous and ironic way.

From artificial intelligence to self-service checkouts to the suffering of a beleaguered SUV driver, like Matze himself, to the Dinkel-Dörte on her cargo bike and politicians who get tangled up in their own statements like cable headphones in a rucksack.

And what would Matze be without soccer? Whether Champions League or district league, VAR drama or dream goal - Matze converts every punchline as surely as Messi scores a penalty in the final. With a keen eye and plenty of humor, he takes aim at the big and small absurdities of the most beautiful sport in the world and has the 2026 World Cup firmly in his sights.

Of course, Matze's unmistakable parodies such as Kloppo, Jogi, Ronaldo, Lodda and Diedää are not to be missed. He has them all with him. In his show, Matze also goes back to the past: he takes his audience back to the 80s, 90s and 2000s - to a time when we stumbled through the outdoor pool with a leaky shell, an Ed from Schleck and a Walkman - without WLAN - but with a hungry Tamagotchi. Who doesn't remember the feeling of refreshing the Teletext page or being greeted with a cheerful "uh-ohhh!" on ICQ? While we used to dance wildly and joyfully to Wham! and the Backstreet Boys, today we listen to melancholy singer-songwriters who sound like they lost the will to live as soon as they got up. While Supa Richie was still able to use cheeky pick-up lines to win over his "pearl" back then, today we only ask ourselves whether we should swipe left or right when dating. Matze brings all these topics back - of course with a wink, a lot of humor and the right amount of self-irony.

One thing is certain in Matze's show: no two evenings are the same. Spontaneous, quick-witted and always close to the audience, he takes on every situation that presents itself. Improvisation, interaction and plenty of surprises are all part of his concept. His audience is always right in the middle of things, not just there. Whether soccer, parodies, politics or pop culture capers - Matze is and remains the SPITZENREITER of good humor.
