Maulvoll Sessions: Roni Dot x Cave To Cosmos

These acts await you on 14.09.2025 in the Maulvoll wine bar from 8 pm.

RONI DOT:

TAKE A BIG MIXING BOWL.
Mix 2 cups of pensive thoughts
with 1 cup of beat that-makes-you-wanna-dance.
Add a handful of synths and samples, 1⁄2 cup of vocal layers and stir well.
Take 1-2 stylish theatrical icons (Kate Bush could work well), throw them in the mix Season with a pinch of Depeche-mode darkness.
Serve warm.

Cave To Cosmos combines the indie-croonerism of Nick Cave and Alex Turner with the artistic radicalism of Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) and the melodic brilliance of Prefab Sprout. Music of the evening and the night, finely balanced pop gems of sheer irresistible melodic brilliance, about transience and farewells, the beauty of things, about monolithic naturalistic images. Longing, melancholy music, but also music of new beginnings.
