EIHT stands for West Coast hip hop, gangsta rap and, above all, Compton. He is one of those who significantly influenced rap on the West Coast in the 90s.

MC EIHT is a true legend from the hood. The West Coast veteran was born and raised in Compton, where he still lives today. He began his solo musical career in the early 1990s and has since worked with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Gang Starr, Cypress Hill, 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. He also played in the hip-hop classic "Menace II Society".

Eiht's discography includes well over 10 solo albums, the most recent of which, "Which Way Iz West", was created in 2017 in collaboration with Brenk Sinatra and DJ Premier. The record perfectly reflects the Californian lifestyle of sun, car culture and gangsta lifestyle. MC EIHT is now coming LIVE to Dortmund for the first time on Fri. 16.02.2024.
