The book Mein Ich - mein Zuhause by Saher Khanaqa Kükelhahn brings together. 28 short stories about people with experiences of flight and migration. The author, herself a refugee and psychologist, uses real experiences from her therapeutic work. In vivid role prose, the characters tell of loss of home, trauma, hope and new beginnings. Despite the difficult themes, the stories convey a positive attitude and show ways to self-determination and integration. Creative perspectives and true-to-life language create a moving literary portrait of arriving in Germany.
