New Country meets Hamburg - honest, warm, acoustic.

Mick Mason makes country - but differently. No cheesy southern romanticism, but honest music with guitar strings, dust and stories. A guy who sings like a diary: direct, approachable, sometimes melancholy - but always warm.

His sound? Nashville style with a European flair. Folky country that sounds like the road without being loud. Music that makes you wonder: have I heard this song before - or does it just feel so familiar?

It's best to listen for yourself when the first notes rise into the air. No rodeo, no frills - just one musician, one evening and maybe a few goose bumps. If you want to rediscover country music, just come along.

It's best to leave your car at home - there's hardly any parking in the neighborhood. Come relaxed by bus or city bike:

- Bus 130 to "Braune Brücke"
