Mike Churilov Quartett feat. Reggie Washington

In the organizer's words:

Guitarist Mike Churilov, a graduate of the Folkwang University of the Arts, inspired by greats such as George Benson and Wes Montgomery, grew up musically under the mentorship of Rodney Jones and Peter Bernstein. He presents his quartet with Jerry Lu on piano and Niklas Walter on drums - a musical partnership that has existed for many years.
A special guest will be the legendary bassist Reggie Washington - known for his work with Roy Hargrove, Nicholas Payton, Buckshot LeFonque and many other top acts.
The music of the evening: a hard bop program - intense, rhythmic and full of soul. The program includes standards from the Great American Songbook, own arrangements and compositions.
