WUM and BUM and the ladies DING DONG Gordon Kampe based on the book of the same name by Brigitte Werner (2017-18) for voice and orchestra

"Mit Karacho!" neighbors WUM and BUM meet the no less sonorous ladies DING and DONG. One listens to loud marching music, the other sings with her canary, Mr. WUM rattles around the first floor with karacho and anger in his belly and Mrs. DING can even make a "pink frilly thing" sound from her cluttered apartment - that can only mean trouble ... With onomatopoeic sounds, composer Gordon Kampe brings the quarrelling neighborhood to life with funny sounds, effects and Tschingderassabum.
