How can we talk about peace in Palestine if women and young people remain excluded from political participation?

In a society characterized by decades of Israeli occupation, patriarchal structures and a lack of opportunities for political participation, their voices often go unheard. Especially in light of the daily growing challenges in the West Bank, it is more important than ever to focus on issues of equality and political representation and to give these voices space. This is exactly where our local partner, the Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy (PCPD), comes in - supporting young people and women to get actively involved, take on leadership roles and participate in decision-making processes.

On this evening, Managing Director Hilda Issa will provide insights into the work of the organization, show the central role that youth development and women's rights play for the future of Palestine and how local engagement makes real social change possible.
