Attention, short-term change of location possible:
Even though "Singing in the Rain" is a beautiful thing, we want to prevent the sniffles and would move our sing-along concert to the Allerweltshaus (Geisselstr. 3-5, Cologne-Ehrenfeld) at short notice in case of rainy weather. You can find updates on the Allerweltshaus website www.allerweltshaus.de and on Instagram @allerweltshauskoeln on Wednesday.
This time we are looking forward to an evening of Georgian songs by and with Vako Mandzulashvili, Susanne Peters, Alexander Hauer and friends.
Susanne Peters and Alexander Hauer started a private initiative in 2014 to meet up with friends at home to eat and sing Georgian songs together. They met Vako Mandzulashvili in 2023. Since then, they have been singing and rehearsing the songs as a trio.
Georgia is a small country with a rich and diverse musical tradition. The fascination of its songs lies in the fact that they touch the heart and soul deeply, making inner and outer spaces vibrate with their very own harmonies. They focus on solidarity, friendship and love. Singing them connects us with the world, with the moment and with those who are with us.
And we invite you to do the same: come along, sing and hum with us. No previous knowledge - including language skills - is necessary. Vako, Susanne and Alexander will teach us the songs and sing them with us.
