Miwata is an artist who has become an integral part of the German-speaking music world. Starting out as an MC, singer and rapper in Karlsruhe, he secured himself a permanent place in the reggae scene in 2012 with his mixtape "Auf dem Weg Richtung Sonne". As a much-booked artist, Miwata toured throughout the German-speaking world and played his way into the hearts of his listeners. His music shows how fluid the genre boundaries of his work are and how versatile the artist is. Fresh, crisp hip-hop and trap style meets anthemic pop melodies, dancehall flows and guitars, and Miwata's voice touches with soulful and critical lyrics.
