A person with a book in his hand is never entirely predictable, because books are the greatest danger to a great society like ours. Tracking down and destroying books is the first task of the honorable and unique fire department. The books are burned on the spot. That's the way we want it, that's the way you want it! We protect you from anti-social behavior, from destructive thoughts, from profound mistakes. One of these great firefighters is Guy Montag, our best man. Always with a fire grin on his face, he knows exactly how to get book paper lit, at exactly 451 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mr. 4-5-1 is a media-critical story about bans, in which the boundary between fiction and reality becomes fragile.
Play length: 85 minutes, no intermission.
