Münchner Schiene - Transformieren, übertragen, übersetzen - Lesungen und Gespräche

Writing is linked to language(s). What does language mean for the text and how does it change when switching to a new linguistic track? Together with Karin Fellner and Sasha Lavrenchuk, Volha Hapeyeva and Delschad Numan Khorschid, we will listen to the sound of texts in Belarusian, Kurdish, Ukrainian and German and then engage in discussions about the meaning of language(s). We will ask about the differences in writing in native and foreign languages, the challenges of literary translations and adaptations and the processes involved in writing, rewriting and rewriting.

This spring, the Münchner Volkshochschule is organizing the "Münchner Schiene" as part of the literature festival.
