Münchens historische Stadtgeschichte lauschen | kostenlos im Rahmenprogramm der MACHart

In the organizer's words:

What are the Bavaria and Theresienwiese all about? Ernst from Team Eat the World knows all about Munich's city history and will take you on a journey into the past.

The lecture is free and takes place as part of the MACHart cultural festival .

On May 2 and 3, the Alte Kongresshalle will once again be transformed into a lively event space for all those who love handmade items, design and a genuine love of detail.
Over 100 MACHers from the fields of fashion, food, lifestyle, art and DIY will be presenting their products, their ideas and, above all, their enthusiasm. The MACHart Festival is no ordinary market - it is a place of inspiration and DIY.
Where ideas become favorite pieces Between individual fashion labels, handmade jewelry, expressive works of art and stylish home accessories, an atmosphere is created that you can not only see, but feel. Creativity becomes tangible here. Many exhibitors open
behind the scenes of their craft and show how much dedication and attention to detail goes into creating their pieces. Personal conversations, real stories and special finds make the visit an experience.

A short culinary journey

Culinary delights are also on offer: hot dogs, pulled pork burgers and empanadas meet sweet ice cream and freshly prepared crêpes. There is also
aromatic coffee and other street food creations to try. Exhibitors will also be presenting a fine selection of jams and spreads, spicy chutneys, fine vinegars and oils as well as melt-in-the-mouth chocolate refined with fresh strawberries. This turns the MACHart Festival into a little culinary journey.

Another highlight is the big competition, which takes place directly at the location on both days of the event. Visitors have the chance to win attractive prizes - including tickets for Skyline Park, vouchers for the Wellness Temple,
a barbecue workshop, a culinary city tour from Eat the World as well as exclusive goodie bags and other surprises.

Sunday is especially dedicated to families. Children can look forward to a clown magic show and face painting. There will also be an interactive hands-on course called "Elefantenmut" ("Elephant Courage"), which playfully empowers children from the age of five and gives them self-confidence. Readings of crime novels and children's books as well as exciting insights into Munich's city history provide additional cultural moments.

Do it yourself and take it home

If you don't just want to be amazed, but want to get creative yourself, the wide range of workshops is just the thing for you. Whether it's a barbecue workshop, tufting or screen printing, designing mosaic coasters or flower hoops - here you can create your own unique pieces under expert guidance. Herbal workshops invite you to make your own oxymel, bath salts, tinctures or cooking oil. In addition, scented candles can be poured into cake molds, jewelry can be made, macramé can be knotted or origami can be folded. In the children's craft room, even the youngest
visitors can give free rein to their creativity. Further stations are already being planned.
