Thomas Rainer is one of the most uncompromising visionaries of the black-tinged electronic music landscape. With NACHTMAHR, he established a project early on that combines brute club sounds with strong, multi-layered lyrics, making the project one of the major trendsetters of the devastating industrial culture over the years.

Even with the very first sign of life, the thundering dark techno of the EP "Kunst ist Krieg", he crossed the Rubicon. Since 2007, he has unleashed eleven devastating studio albums, nine EPs and countless, all-scorching live shows. In 2026, he returned with IMPERIVM, a hard-hitting work that crosses sonic dominance with unyieldingness and provides a soundtrack of steel and obsession to the resistance against pigeonholing and conformity. NACHTMAHR albums have always been particularly good to experience on stage. Anyone who has ever seen this band live has usually never recovered.

A NACHTMAHR concert is not a promotional event for a new album. Not a half-baked show with retort beats. It's a total work of art consisting of sound, visuals, outfits, light and attitude.
