Nachttierhaus: Jazz influenced groove music

The musicians of Nachttierhaus have been moving on their own terrain for years - species-appropriate and free from conventional dogmas. Influences from drum'n'bass, house, hip-hop and electronica flow naturally into their music, without being quoted or zeitgeisty. With piano/Fender Rhodes, bass, drums and percussion, the band combines improvisational freedom with Latin American rhythms and harmonies. The focus is on cohesion and the rhythmic development of repetitive patterns, with occasional flashes of solo brilliance. Despite all the complexity, the music remains catchy and dynamic - with the energy of contemporary clubs. A concert by Nachttierhaus is an occasion to dance and to listen.
