Neujahrswanderung von Mauenheim zur Galopprennbahn

In the organizer's words:

New Year's hike from Mauenheim to the racecourse

Into the new year... We start in Mauenheim. We walk along the elevated railroad to the mural "The Sky Dancer". In the Grüner Hof and the Nibelungensiedlung, we immerse ourselves in the social housing of the 1920s. We continue via the Nordfriedhof cemetery with its beautiful old trees. In Weidenpesch we meet the furniture manufacturer Jakob Pallenberg. With the Madonna im Grünen chapel and the Erlöserkirche church, we show you two different and at the same time modern churches. The racecourse is a nice end to our New Year's walk.
