Lecture by Sebastian Lehrke

Professional photographer and filmmaker Sebastian Lehrke has traveled to many corners of the world - always in search of freedom and wilderness. But no country has left such a lasting impression on him as New Zealand. At the proverbial other end of the world, he found something that never touched him so deeply anywhere else.

What does freedom actually mean? "Freedom is when nobody wants anything from you - except your inner voice. When all external influences are quiet and you consciously listen to the silence." With these words, Sebastian describes his journey through the wild nature of New Zealand: unpredictable, close, genuine and unique.
New Zealand is a country like a living, breathing picture book. Between fjords, volcanoes, ancient rainforests, endless beaches and glacier-covered mountains, Sebastian sets off in his van "Alf" for 90 days in search of adventure.

In his visually stunning presentation, he takes you to the other side of the world - to a place where nature lets the soul breathe and encounters with open, warm-hearted people - the Kiwis - change the way you look at life.
