The Berlin bassist from Munich, Nils Kugelmann, has risen to become one of the shooting stars of German jazz in record time, has been rightly showered with prizes and has given both critics and the public the impression that this is someone who is here to stay and who will take jazz forward with his verve, enthusiasm, skill and insatiable curiosity.

Following his acclaimed debut album Stormy Beauty (ACT), which was promptly nominated for the German Record Critics' Award and landed in the European jazz charts, Kugelmann is now touring nationally and internationally with his new album. This new program from Kugelmann's pen manages more than ever to touch the audience, entertain them and make their heads nod. Melodies that inspire meet harmonies that won't let you go. And always audible: Kugelmann's love of groove.
