"A van full of funk and soul hurtles towards an intersection at excessive speed. A trendy Golf convertible approaches from the left, while a drugged-up Ford Mustang with rock beats rushes up from the right. From the front, an Amish car with fresh jazz sounds cruises into the junction. At the last moment, everyone hits the horn. But of course - it crashes. The result? Nils Parkinson! In the 20 years of its existence, this brass-heavy Leipzig octet has blossomed into a live institution. Enriched with funky soul, dirty rock, complex jazz and sweaty disco, their original compositions and covers cover the entire spectrum of the dance floor.
