Fast food, Sun2One and action games - a trip through the gambling scene of the Schälsick, from Porz-Urbach to Mülheim Wiener Platz.

An ex-gambler goes in search of a recidivist friend. The machines now have larger screens and brighter colors. But otherwise, time seems to stand still in the gaming arcades. In a world that is upside down, the protagonist is once again attracted by this.

Leonard Prandini is a Cologne-based writer and screenwriter. He studied philosophy in Bonn, literary writing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and is part of the literary collective "Hypertext". In 2017, his factual novel "Alles Verlorene noch einmal in den Händen halten" was published by Retap-Verlag. In 2022, he was the recipient of the Dieter Wellershoff Scholarship from the City of Cologne. His literary work deals with the topics of identity search, addiction and friendship. He is co-leader of a self-help group for gambling addiction.
