On this evening, two musical friends are on an acoustic tour to share their songs with us up close, real and direct:

NNELLA makes art pop. Somewhere between caressing and biting. Music that likes to scratch where it hurts a little, and does so with irony and a penchant for the absurd. The Vorarlberg-born musician released her debut album Dear Beloved Asshole via her own label very hairy records in 2020, as well as her second album Close To A Reality, a dance between tension and lightness - and an attempt to understand the world a little better. Since then, NNELLA has found a creative home with the feminist Berlin indie label Listenrecords. NNELLA's music loves many colors and genres and certainly doesn't want to be squeezed into those well-worn pigeonholes and that sounds and feels great at best! The lyrics reflect today's thoughts on topics such as mental health, the climate crisis and feminism. And sometimes in English, German or in their mother tongue, Vorarlberg. Always a bit scratchy, absurd and beautiful!

The Finnish-German singer/songwriter Anna Hauss has made a name for herself not only through her appearance in the Netflix series Queen's Gambit. Her fragile, beautiful, shimmering folk-pop is also enchanting on her second album Unknown Waters . It is both a personal exploration of the unknown, such as relationships of all kinds, as well as an invitation to engage with this very unknown: "It's okay to swim a little before getting to new ground". The clear, centered songs offer thoughtful lightness for the courage to jump into the deep end, to let go of what you can't control and to accept that the future is unpredictable. Floating bliss included!
