Melón Jiménez and Lara Wong redefine flamenco - with a sound that flows effortlessly between cultures, genres and times. Deeply rooted in the tradition of flamenco and tinged with jazz, their music is reminiscent of the nomadic origins of arte jondo - from India to Africa and Latin America.

The sparkling rasgueos of the flamenco guitar meet the mystical melodies of the bansuri and the flute and merge into an intense musical dialog that is at once mysterious, bold and passionate. Since their meeting in Madrid in 2021, the two musicians have played over 100 concerts on four continents, delighting audiences in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa.

Melón Jiménez is one of Spain's leading flamenco guitarists and is known for his collaborations with artists such as Anoushka Shankar, Richard Bona and Jorge Pardo.

Lara Wong is a flautist and winner of the title of Best Flamenco Instrumentalist at the renowned Festival Cante de las Minas.
