Comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen, NYOS are known for their immersive and often physically demanding live shows, having toured intensely throughout their first decade of existence, including tours supporting Zeal & Ardor, Esben and the Witch and The Comet Is Coming as well as appearances at festivals such as Sideways Festival in Helsinki, Fekete Zaj in Hungary and Pelagic Fest in Netherlands. The duo create massive sonic worlds using Brooke's labyrinthine loops and atmospheric layering alongside Kainulainen's kinetic drumming, in music that is rhythmic, raw, and eclectic.

Since their formation in 2014, NYOS have carved out a distinctive place within Europe's experimental and post-rock scenes, characterized by their relentless energy, polyrhythmic complexity, and hypnotic layering.

While still rooted in their signature loop-based approach, Growl is "more ambitious with song soundscapes and compositions", says guitarist Tom Brooke, naturally embracing a denser, more textured sound with greater attention to atmosphere and tension.

Laudare stands for poetry - in words and composition. Somewhere between post- and progressive rock, metal, neo-classical and folk, the quartet of three voices, guitar, bass, drums and cello forges its own path off the beaten track. Melody after melody nestles together, on top of each other, into each other. Sometimes delicate and fragile, sometimes expansive and powerful and always with that bittersweet melancholy in the heart that touches as deeply as it hurts and makes us feel our lightest and darkest sides at the same time.

Ophelia Sullivan (they/them) is a composer, music producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Leipzig, Germany. Previously known for her work in electronic and experimental music (SEE ECSTASPHERE AND APHEXIA) as well as having been a live vocalist for GERMAN Progressive Metal band Soulsplitter, Ophelia's new solo project is located at the intersection of electronic music, band music and orchestral music.
Its stylistic components include but are not limited to Post-Progressive, Avant-Pop, Trip Hop, Electronica and Post-Rock.
Ophelia's music is never confined to a single genre - the central idea is juxtaposing and merging supposedly unrelated styles.
