The Odonische Freitagsbühne is back.
Every Friday evening from May to September 2025, our sculpture garden will be a meeting place for live music and good vibes!

Between 6 and 10 p.m. there will be drinks, food and a varied soundtrack: punk, indie, soul, rock, cumbia, funk, open mic, global sound, RnB and pop.

The concerts usually start at 6:30 pm. Admission is free.

All artists play for the hat - donations are expressly welcome. Come along, bring your friends and enjoy the summer with us.

Garry Blueberry & Ravetea @garryblueberry_ @ravetea

Conscious rap & electronic beats with vocals

Garry Blueberry is a drama student in his final year and represents the queer community in his lyrics. Ravetea is an event planner and grew up on hip hop jams. Both are connected by rap, of course, but above all by a long-standing friendship and many shared experiences. Together, Garry Blueberry and Ravetea released an album last year with a musical spectrum that will continue to run through, from fast electronic beats to classic 90 bpm hip hop, from serious real talk to experimental or funny concepts. Her style as well as her lyrics are always uncompromising and brutally honest, her stage presence captivates the audience. Look forward to something personal and genuine.

Die Anteile @dieanteile

Die Anteile are a Berlin-based duo that can be musically categorized between robot rock and electro dance punk. The vocoder has a firm place in their hearts and suitcases, either distorting the Dada and cut-up-inspired lyrics or releasing them into the room as spoken word. The parts, equipped with guitar and bass, work closely together with the small instruments that live between cables and power strips in their tweed suitcase. The duo draws inspiration from the fidgetiness of Talking Heads, DAF, Peaches and Ryuichi Sakamoto. They don't usually like tradition, but they would see themselves in the Krautrock genre. They like to froth up their songs into a neo-psychedelic mixture and remain electro pop curious.

Laoura @laouralaouralaoura

LAOURA's music combines pop with the soft nuances of R'n'B and the depth of neo-soul. Her warm voice and the approachable emotionality of her English lyrics create a sound that wraps itself around her listeners like a "comfort blanket". Inspired by artists such as Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, Pip Millet and Olivia Dean, she mixes modern beats with catchy melodies to create a sound that effortlessly bridges the gap between zeitgeist and timeless elegance. Her music is accessible and profound at the same time - a special signature that is evident in both the production and her sense of atmosphere.

MAKEDA @makedamusic

"Black or white - they're tryna make me choose."

As an artist with roots in Germany and Trinidad, Makeda has often felt torn, sometimes dreaming of straight hair, sometimes of long legs, and more than once wondering about her place in the world. In her search, she found one thing above all: a unique and unmistakable voice with which she can express the things that move her in an honest and undisguised way. Her songs are a liberating blow that clears up question marks and opens up pigeonholes. Because rebellion can be sexy and vulnerability can be strong. Not hiding your own mistakes, but celebrating them - that is more than just the message of her songs, but also a guide to your own identity.

All made up? Or just painted on? The new love from Cologne sounds like RnB and soul. The German lyrics leave room to find yourself in them. Ketzberg encourages nudity - and honesty. The view to London colors his music at least purple.

No wedding without tears and no funeral without laughter. Young Diver & Die Tropenboys are hard and heart-broken and move with German lyrics and their sound hybrid in the Bermuda triangle between pop, funk, punk and rap. They celebrate the big in the small. Sometimes dancing, sometimes stomping in the midst of exuberance and melancholy, but always with humor.

Snippet Upper Laser is like an action movie on stage: driving, atmospheric, catchy - as YouTuber Ronnie "Where Post Rock Dwells" said: 'So fresh and bizarre and unique in every aspect! They not only bring their kick-ass modern prog to the stage, but also a dazzling spectacle of sound and light with their DIY light show - an unforgettable live experience!

Following their debut EP 'Pathetic Toneless Obsessions', they released their debut album 'Ever Changing Times' in 2023, a 70-minute powerhouse on double vinyl and digital.

The Atrium @the_atrium_en

Active since 2013, the four Duisburgers already impressed with energetic live shows at major NRW festivals in 2015 - just a few months after starting their tour.

Their sound: catchy vocals meet fat walls of guitars and modern synths - a mix of rock and electronic influences. With an EP, the album Up North, music videos and over 30 shows across Germany, the band quickly built up a loyal fan base. Highlights: Performances at Traumzeit Festival, Magic Moments, IFA Berlin, victory at Hard Rock Rising Cologne & support slot in front of 5,000 at the Kölner Haie summer festival.

Artists from the independent scene and newcomers, regardless of fame and professionalization, are given the opportunity to participate across genres. No costs are incurred by Odonien for the artists and admission is free for visitors.
