Public tours
We offer public tours of our broadcasting centers in Cologne and Berlin at regular intervals.
The tours last approximately one hour.

The Funkhaus in Cologne is a listed building due to its significance in terms of urban planning and architectural history. On January 29, 2024, the city of Cologne placed distinctive elements, such as the Deutschlandfunk chamber music hall, the studios and control rooms built in this area, as well as the special construction and arrangement of the high-rise building, base, ashlar construction and technology tower, as well as exterior fronts and façade elements, under monument protection. The Funkhaus Köln is the main broadcasting location of Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandfunk Nova.
