When you think of food and movies, you think of popcorn and nachos. But what about food IN movies? What do characters in movies eat? What does it do to us when we see characters eating? Does the choice of food possibly characterize the character? And why are violence and food so closely linked in Tarantino's films? Kai G. Bernhardt, media studies graduate and cultural mediator of our current exhibition "Mahlzeit! How food connects us", in his lecture.
