OHL - Nachtleben Frankfurt

In the organizer's words:

OHL are back and, with their latest album "Brandstifter" (Sunny Bastards Rec, 2023), are once again putting their finger in the wound and refusing to let themselves be banned from speaking out against any zeitgeist or social condition!

After their successful Japan tour at the beginning of 2025, which can now also be read as a tour diary in the current OX Fanzine, the accompanying album will be released next October: "Der Japanfeldzug - live in Tokyo".

OHL was founded in January 1980 by Deutscher W (Deutscher W stands for "German Resistance", the movement that opposed the Nazi dictatorship during the Third Reich - see Geschwister Scholl / the White Rose) and is a punk band from the very beginning. From the very beginning, the band consistently went their own way and impressed with their uncompromising way of calling a spade a spade.

Wild and unconventional, OHL quickly gathered a large fan base around them and have refused to be pigeonholed for over four decades.

Live, OHL still set off loud and hard fireworks, fighting and pillorying all forms of political extremism and religious fanaticism ... and the only thing they leave behind is scorched earth.

One of the last true punk bands - while others eke out their existence in the soft-purged mainstream feel-good mode or have nested themselves in hip German rock, O H L are what they have always been. A punk band.

Times are tough. O H L are tougher.
