One Of These - A Tribute To Pink Floyd - 2. Tribute Festival Mönchengladbach

In the early 1970s, filmmaker Adrian Maben experienced the unique atmosphere of the abandoned and dilapidated arena during a visit when he stood alone in the amphitheater in Pompeii. This gave rise to the idea of using this backdrop for a music film without an audience, which, as a counterpart to concert films such as "Woodstock", would concentrate purely on the band, the music and the setting. The result is a unique concert film that presents the music of Pink Floyd with a unique urgency. It is now over 50 years since the release of this music film "Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii" and in 2025 the film has been remastered and the music released as audio for the first time.

One Of These have taken this opportunity in their early years line-up to perform the complete music from this film in one piece in their "Live at Pompeii" program. Even though the backdrop in Pompeii was unique and cannot be brought into a concert hall or club in this way, the band still succeeds in capturing and conveying the mood and atmosphere of the music.
