KEIN LAND FÜR NIEMAND - ABSCHOTTUNG EINES EINWANDERUNGSLANDES goes in search of the causes of this political caesura and takes the audience on an evocative journey. The documentary begins at Europe's external borders, where an ongoing humanitarian catastrophe meets state ignorance, but also civil commitment. It accompanies a rescue mission in the Mediterranean, documents the catastrophic situation from the air and tells the stories of survivors who have found their way to Germany despite violence and deadly risks.
