Wilhelm - der Verein e.V. präsentiert: Open Air Theater "Rhinozerosse" von Eugene Ionesco

Rhinoceroses (The Rhinoceroses) by Eugene Ionesco, outside, free and for everyone! When reality becomes more absurd than the theater, then it's high time we showed it: Wild, weird, funny, but unfortunately also very serious, Ionesco shows us how quickly authoritarian structures can arise. Since its German premiere in Düsseldorf in 1957, the play has lost none of its acute relevance today. We are showing it in the middle of a lively Cologne district, on Wilhelmplatz in Nippes. There is no seating, so please pack a stool, folding chair or blanket! Wilhelm der Verein would like to thank the #hiermitherz campaign of Sparkasse Köln, the district of Nippes and the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne, without whom this production would not be possible!
