Opernball 2026: PADAM!

In the organizer's words:

"Padam ... padam ..." - A heartbeat. Footsteps on the pavement. A melody that you will never forget. "Je t'aime" whispers someone from the side ... Under the motto PADAM! - inspired by Édith Piaf's legendary chanson - the 2026 Opera Ball celebrates the city of love: between French elegance and bohemia, Baroque splendor, Belle Époque and the Parisian lifestyle of the 1950s.
Star guest Katharine Mehrling meets the State Opera ensemble in several shows. The glamorous opening is traditionally performed by the debutantes of the Bothe dance school. At midnight, the dancers of the Staatsballett Hannover will perform a choreography by ballet director Goyo Montero. Chansons and contemporary hits, musette and diverse dance music will be combined with performances by the Thilo Wolf Big Band, the Lower Saxony State Orchestra, DJ Jueri and drag queen Gisela Kloppke in imaginatively designed rooms with the finest French cuisine from Opernhaus Catering to create an unforgettable highlight in the 2026 cultural calendar.
