ORB are a heavy psych-power trio from Geelong, Australia, who combine doom-heavy riffs, distorted proto-metal and cosmic groove. With members Zak Olsen, Daff Gravolin and John Zacharias, the band evolved from informal jam sessions into one of Australia's most distinctive underground psychedelic rock bands.

They debuted with the cassette "Womb" (2015) before making their breakthrough with "Birth" (2016) and "Naturality" (2017) - albums that showcased their signature blend of Sabbath heaviness, psychedelic expansiveness and quirky melodies.

After a hiatus, ORB returned with 'Tailem Bend' (2024), expanding their sonic palette to include sun-drenched psych-pop and funky rhythms. In 2025, the band released their first single on their own with new drummer John Zacharius. "Mind Over Matter / End Times" is a catchy track in which the band harks back to their rhythm & blues influences of the early 60s. After the single debuted on Seattle radio station KEXP, the band was invited to play a live set to kick off their 2025 US tour.

Live, ORB present themselves as a raw, improvisational power trio - loud, hypnotic and heavy without pretension. With one foot in classic hard rock and the other in the outer reaches of psychedelic experimentation, ORB are constantly evolving while remaining unmistakably themselves.
