To mark the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss (son), Musikalische Komödie presents an extraordinary gala. The author Carsten Süss, back at the house for the second time after the winter revue "Mit Verspätung ins Glück" (With Delay to Happiness), presents the life of the composer of the century in a humorous way, so that all the artists of the evening take the audience on a journey into the past that cannot be surpassed in its topicality. Because many an anecdote has historical dimensions. Under the musical direction of Michael Nündel and Tobias Engeli, well-known and newly discovered works by the Waltz King will be performed, whose music no one can escape to this day.
