"Outline": Comic Salon mit Michèle Fischels

The last school year before graduation has begun... a time when the world seems as it always has, but which will change everything. For Ben, who is determined to enjoy the end of the summer with his girlfriend Clara, the mood gradually darkens as she begins to withdraw more and more. Just as his best friend Andreas had already turned his back on Ben a while earlier without explanation.

As tensions between Ben and Clara escalate and Andreas struggles with his own demons, the A-level exams inevitably draw closer - and with them all the other nonsense: "What are you doing after school? Where are you going to apply? Are you enrolling? Are you moving out?" It's high time to take a deep breath...

With "Outline", Michèle Fischels presents an impressive debut in which she demonstrates a keen sense, both narratively and graphically, for that special phase in which we cautiously leave childhood and school days behind us and look to the future with uncertainty and anticipation.
