At the age of 18, Victor Marnitz is confronted with the diagnosis of lymphatic cancer. What follows is not a story of resignation
resignation, but a radical new beginning: after his recovery, he signs on as a sailor on the traditional
traditional sailing ship Sea Cloud I and sails across the Atlantic for six months. Back in Germany, he abandons his plan to study law,

Three studio albums - "FREI" (2021, financed by crowdfunding), "GLÜCKLICH" (2023) and "ICH" (2025) - show the development of an artist

"ICH" live in front of an audience of 1,300 at St. George's Church in Wismar - with Joey Kelly as the opening act. As opening act
for LEONY, MIA, Florian Künstler and Charly Klauser, ÖXL has expanded his audience far beyond Wismar. ÖXL
shares his everyday life with a loyal community - the "ÖXLians" - in his YouTube format "Travel Diary". His
big goal: to one day stand on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall in London
