Pale Blue Dot

In the organizer's words:

Space odyssey through jazz, folk and rock!

The earth as a pale blue dot in space; taken by the Voyage probe
from a distance of 6 billion kilometers. The astrophysicist Carl
Sagan, who inspired this image, wanted to emphasize the transience and fragility
fragility of life on earth.

This pale blue earth is the guiding star and inspiration for Moritz Hamm (drums),
Calvin Lenning (bass) and Alex Florin (guitar) in their new trio. From the
love of improvisation, they create fragile, shimmering moments that leave a
leave a trace in musical space-time.

The three musicians from Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne are united by their joy of playing and their
friendship. This allows them to create intimate, musical moments that are sometimes
driving, sometimes floating. Pale Blue Dot stands for music that
space: for emotion, for atmosphere, for the here and now - and for the awareness
the awareness that we are all on this small, blue planet
are traveling together.

Pale Blue Dot released their debut album "Lift Off" in June 2025.
