Eight years ago: Panopticon at the UT Connewitz. Under the banner of "The Lights of Myriad Woods" - presented by Golden Rhino predecessor Swansea Concerts/Constellation. An evening that stayed - wild, earthy, full of vastness.
They now return in 2026 with the Laurentian Echoes Tour and selected pieces from 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲.
Music between anarchic force and contemplative silence, between black metal, folk and the unbroken search for nature and freedom.

With the Laurentian Echoes Tour, Panopticon returns to Leipzig - to the place where they already gave an impressive concert at The Lights Of Myriad Woods in 2018. Austin L. Lunn and his fellow musicians present selected pieces from the Laurentian Trilogy: ...And Again Into The Light (2021), The Rime of Memory (2023) and the upcoming album Det Hjemsøgte Hjertet (2026). A rare program that bundles Panopticon's mixture of impetuous power, thoughtful songwriting and natural mystical depth.

Sunken, who have audibly evolved in recent years, will be joining the band as guests. Their atmospheric black metal, characterized by the sea, coastal landscapes and a peculiar melancholy, combines powerful intensity with floating melodies. With the highly acclaimed Livslede (2020), they have taken a striking step and consolidated their position in the European scene.

An evening that explores contrasts: Anger and calm, toughness and fragility - at UT Connewitz.
