The Kim family lives at eye level with a littered street in a small basement apartment. When the son gets a job as a tutor for a rich family, they sense an opportunity. Using tricks and swindles, the daughter, father and mother gradually take up residence as servants in the Park family's lavish villa. But they are not the first to try to take over the house. Luxury and the precariat clash here in a dizzying class struggle that alternates between satire, thriller and drama with nuance, but clearly has empathy for those who dream of more than a life at the bottom.
