Parrington
After a few years of creative work in the rehearsal room, concerts in small and large clubs - and a forced break due to the pandemic - Parrington are back with their new album "Carry On". The four Leipzig-based band have been making skate punk with heart, attitude and a clear edge for years - and are celebrating the release of their new record with a special show in their hometown.
"Carry On" has become a personal album in many respects. It tells of moving on, of breaking up, of holding on - sometimes loud and fast, sometimes thoughtful. Anyone who knows Parrington knows that the songs are direct, melodic and particularly powerful live.
Their last album "Punkrock in My Veins" was released in 2020, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. All the more reason for the band to look forward to a real release concert - with old friends, new songs and hopefully lots of familiar faces.
Leipzig, see you there.
The Antipreneurs stand up to the maelstrom of the zeitgeist. No higher-faster-further, no motivational speeches and no race for the latest trends. Current topics and personal stories are critically packaged in music. Raw music, a mixture of punk rock with garage and stoner influences that comes across as honest and refuses to conform.
The four musicians from Braunschweig came together at the beginning of 2021 and quickly found a common bond that goes beyond the joy of making music. You can not only hear and see this, but it is also noticeable in the band's productivity. Several videos and songs have already been released in the band's short history. Since 2023, the band has been touring Germany and neighboring countries with their first LP "Cash Cult Cannibals", released by Stay Sick! Records, through Germany and neighboring countries.
