In his SOLO PK project, pianist and composer Paul Kueppers explores music in an associative way. There is no set program - rather a list of compositions and ideas that are spontaneously connected and developed. With this project, PK aims to offer the audience an experience of playing the piano in a deeply vulnerable and intimate state - the goal is a radically honest form of performance.
PK's repertoire includes jazz standards, modern jazz compositions, original works, free improvisation, European pieces and folk songs. His mission: to create a synthesis of all this material.
