On 22 and 23 August, the church square around the Junge Kirche pax (Friedenskirche) in Gohlis will once again be transformed into a colorful festival area: "pax laut an!" is entering its third round! The street festival is free of charge and is organized by a young, voluntary team who want to make the north of Leipzig diverse and lively.

For two days, a place to celebrate and meet for all generations will be created. The evening program includes live music from Leipzig bands such as Liebenstrunken, 5Raumfenster, Deep in Moon, Morgen in Farbe, Luys - as well as headliner Marlo Grosshardt from Hamburg. Before that, there will be a program for all generations on Saturday afternoon: Kater Paxi will bring stories and songs to join in with, there will be a reading by Axel Thielmann, accompanied by the jazz band Djangophon, followed by entertaining improvisational theater. In addition to the stage, there will be creative hands-on activities, information stands from local initiatives, delicious street food, cool drinks, a bouncy castle, face painting for children - and an after-show party in the church from 10 pm.
