PEACE FOOD oder Die letzte Suppe

In a unique blend of humor and profound seriousness, the renowned theater collective Triple A from Potsdam presents the extraordinary play "PEACE FOOD or The Last Soup". This gripping production, written by Anja Panse, promises an incomparable theater experience that takes the audience into an absurd yet fascinating world full of contrasts.
At the center of the play are two clowns who navigate through the dark chapters of Western history. From the biblical tales of Cain and Abel to the atrocities of the Crusades, the horrors of the Inquisition and witch burnings to the Napoleonic wars and the modern war for oil - the play sheds light on the warlike conflicts of human history and puts them in a grotesque, clownish light.
Despite all the violence and chaos, there is a calm, level-headed character in the story - a wise cook. With her composure, she tries to introduce an element of peace and love into the clowns' world, which is torn apart by conflict. She cooks her favorite soup live on stage. Because isn't it true that eating together brings people together? So the central question remains: will the clowns ultimately succeed in eating together peacefully by overcoming the spiral of violence?

The theater collective Triple A from Potsdam has developed the new genre HISTOPICAL. It is characterized by historical accuracy that relates historical events and personalities to the present in a dramatic-fictional narrative. Through art, Triple A wants to contribute to peace and international understanding and open up discourse on social issues.
