Something happened today...? Of course it was! Today is Peppa's birthday! But now it's time to set the birthday table as quickly as possible, a cake is a must - chocolate is Peppa's favorite, a few cheeky flowers on the table and presents too! All that's missing is a birthday dance with the dear guests...

In the cozy studio theater of the Alte Wursterei in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, children aged 3 and over can attend a performance together with their parents or grandparents. The performance lasts half an hour. An exit fee is charged after the performance, depending on the possibility. Afterwards you can enjoy a delicious cake, iced tea and lemonade. Children get a free drink. And anyone who wants to can draw Peppa a picture or write her a letter.

"Peppa celebrates her birthday" is one of seven productions for young audiences. The non-verbal dance theater pieces use dance, clowning and music to tell stories on topics from the children's world of experience. They are characterized by subtle play, versatile movement vocabulary and sensitive interaction. The productions transcend linguistic and cultural barriers to create emotional experiences without words. They stimulate the children's imagination, their own desire to play and create and the (also verbal) exchange between them. Since 2018, Peppa has been touring nurseries in Cologne, the surrounding area and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and can also be seen at the Alte Wursterei. She has already reached more than 12,000 young viewers.
