Lecture by Reinhard Pantke
Travel journalist and author Reinhard Pantke cycled over 6,000 km across Canada, the second largest country in the world.
The adventurous journey began in May in Vancouver on the west coast of Canada and ended at the end of September in Halifax on the east coast at the start of Indian summer. He had made a similar journey ten years earlier with different stops.
In between, he spent four months traveling through the spectacular Rocky Mountains, the vast lake and forest landscapes of Ontario, diverse Quebec, maritime Nova Scotia and many funny, adventurous and interesting encounters with the country, its people and the local wildlife. But also pictures of lively cities such as Vancouver, Calgary and Quebec City are shown in fascinating image and film sequences. As always, viewers will receive many tips and information for their own travels of all kinds in this lively and live commented lecture.
