Performance: The Living Room Series

English:

A durational performance will mirror the research process by opening the container on the first day of the exhibition and inhabiting "the living room". Through out the week the artists will encounter the space and work on a collective poem which the audience is invited to partake in through the medium of embroidery on a large home-made quilt. This experiment bring in the intimacy of daily life into the instillation and invites visitors in. On the evening of 29th the week long process will culminate in a performance exploring the vulnerability inherent in intimacy and the act of showing up as our full selves.
