Peter Pan

Fairies, pirates, crocodiles - the title "Peter Pan" evokes magical memories of childhood and the dream of flying for many people. The character Peter Pan originally became famous through various stories by Scottish author J. M. Barrie. He was inspired by the children of an acquaintance, whom Barrie looked after after the death of their mother. In 1997, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe turned the timeless story of the boy who never wants to grow up into a rousing musical that enchants young and old alike. The creators of the musical "Mary Poppins" inspire with catchy music and imaginative images. Together with the orchestra of the Musikalische Komödie, the children's and youth choir of Oper Leipzig will bring the play to the stage for the whole family.
